Quick overview.
We've had lectures for 3 weeks now and well, the time here is really weird. It goes really slowly and at the same time really fast. It's again and already monday but we've had only 3 weeks. Really weird.
Anyways in analysing performance we've written 2 analysing tasks and discussed them in seminars. And the seminars haven't been that bad. And last week we studied semiotics and it was really confusing and I got really upset because it's basically a really normal and easy thing but into complex terms and then I even talked in my seminar, I've somehow managed not to say anything for the first 2 sessions.
Scenography is awesome! In process of sceno we have to make a stage model based on the last act of "Hamlet". It's a group project and our group is awesome and we've had like 3 meeting already and we already know what we are going to do! And that's awesome and I'm really looking forward to actually starting to make the model and the lighting and sound stuff, although I actually hate "Hamlet".But so far everything we've drawn and imagined seems amazing and really pretty and more than that, we actually even have explanations why we are doing things the way we are.
Principles of Sceno isn't that interesting, because it's more theoretical. But it's still interesting, it just gets really cold in Teifi Room where we have it, because we just sit and write. Well I write, most people just listen, but I find it easier to consentrate, I'd probably just fall asleep if I didn't write.. And the task for that is make a film explaining our thoughts and ideas how to stage a play called "Pornography". It has nothing to do with actual pornograhpy, it's actually about the 2007 London bombings. And I'm really excited about it, because it's London! and I love London! I have some thoughts but I've actually done nothing, which is quite bad because the deadline for this is earlier than for the Hamlet thing. Actually like a month earlier..
And that's how interesting my life is.. Well yeah, there has been things happening but it'd be to hard to explain them in one post. Oh. yeah, I had birthday almost 2 weeks ago now. It was a normal day because I was on campus like for 12 hours or something. But Kristina and Sandra woke me up with singing and made me a cake, so it was lovely :)
